They are powered by Intel Kaby Lake quad-core processors and they sport dedicated NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti or GTX 1070. They have up to 32 GB of DDR4 memory and a dual-unit storage system with a hard drive and a PCIe SSD or dual SSDs in RAID.
Their connectivity options are as complete as usual, with a Killer Gigabit LAN (E2400) network adapter, Intel Wireless-AC, Bluetooth 4.2, a 720p webcam, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, two USB 3.0, one USB 2.0, support for SD cards, HDMI video output and a Mini DisplayPort.
The keyboard has an ergonomic design with 1.9 mm of key travel and tactile feedback besides an optimum WASD zone, anti-ghosting support and RGB lighting support. The laptops feature a special cooling system with Cooler Boost 5 technology.
We do not have a price for these MSI Raider yet, but we estimate their pricing to be similar to that of the Leopard and Leopard Pro, starting at $1,099.
